Great selection of foods at this upper-end grocery store. A very large section of domestic and imported wine and spirits. Delicious fresh deli, I recommend the shrimp Po boy! Yum! Many locals, which makes a very friendly atmosphere.

Absolutely Love this place! My first time visiting this particular location and I wasn't disappointed. They have such a huge variety of both cheeses, wines, and other alcohols. The staff was friendly as well. It also has all kinds of other groceries as well. If you're anywhere near this spot make sure you stop by and see everything they have to offer.

Best place for wine and liquor But don't forget they do floral arrangements too These beauties were for my friend's wedding and my Maid of Honor arrangement lasted for 3 weeks. I hated throwing it out. Best people and Full of love as seen in these arrangements.

If you’re on the North Shore and hunting for the ultimate king cake stop, Acquistapace’s Market is it—full stop. I visited their Covington location specifically looking for king cakes, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. They’ve got around 15 different king cake varieties from roughly 15 different bakeries, all under one roof. It truly feels like king cake headquarters for the North Shore during Mardi Gras season. From legendary names like Nona Randazzo, Haydel’s, Claudia’s, and more, the selection is unmatched, with multiple flavors from each bakery. If you’re trying to compare, sample, or just grab the best cake for the office, family, or parade route—this is the place to be. Beyond king cakes, Acquistapace’s is also a fantastic locally owned market. The Covington store has a great selection of wine, cheeses, specialty deli items, and hard-to-find treats, making it a solid stop even outside of Carnival season. That said, if king cake is your mission, they absolutely nail it. They have two locations—Covington and Mandeville—but my visit was to Covington, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re looking for a specialty item, great wine and cheese, or the king cake for Mardi Gras. This place is a North Shore gem. 👑🎭

This specialty grocery store has an excellent balance of imported products, fresh prepared meals, and everyday essentials. We originally stopped in looking for a few hard-to-find ingredients and ended up spending nearly an hour exploring different sections because there was so much variety available. The deli and bakery areas especially stood out for freshness and presentation. Compared to larger grocery chains, the shopping experience here feels much more curated and thoughtfully organized. Employees throughout the store were approachable and knowledgeable when we had questions about unfamiliar items. It’s now one of our favorite places whenever we want higher-quality ingredients for cooking at home.

I love this supermarket! Acquistapace's has the best selection of cheeses and wines! I also enjoy their produce section, huge amount of king cake choices, and fresh cooked, pre-packaged meals such as sushi, crawfish, boiled shrimp, and pasta salads! Everything here is delicious! 💖 …

A Bourbon Lover's Paradise with Elite Hospitality! If you are passing through Covington, LA, Acquistapace's Covington Supermarket is an absolute must-stop. I actually ended up visiting two days in a row because their selection is so incredible I was completely indecisive about what to get! Truly top tier. Whether you are a casual fan or a serious collector, you’ll find something great. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the customer vibe is just as good. I actually met a fellow bourbon lover in the aisle, had an amazing conversation, and we both walked out with almost the exact same bottles! 🥃 Beyond the liquor department, they have a fantastic selection of hot sauces and gourmet cheeses that you shouldn't skip. Between the awesome inventory and the wonderful hospitality, this has officially become a staple stop for me whenever I'm in the area. See you guys again soon!

I had the best salad from Acqistapace's Covington. I was in the area for an entire week and needed something quick, healthy and filling. I decided to try Acqistapace and was not disappointed. The salad was pre-made. It had a heaping amount of fresh spring lettuce, olives, feta, cranberries, candied pecans, lemon, and a delicious dressing to bring all the flavors together. It was amazing. I can't wait to go back.
